to the "los angeles times" show the promoter of michael jackson's comeback concerts and the director in charge of them expressed serious doubts about the star's ability to perform. the e-mails detailed director kenny ortega's concern about the king of pop's emotional well being and ortega suggests he be evaluated by a psychiatrist. other e-mails expressed great confidence in dr. conrad murray's ability to keep jackson healthy enough to resume rehearsals. murray was eventually convicted of involuntary manslaughter in jackson's death stemming from an overdose of an anesthetic used to help jackson sleep. >>> michael phelps is also a winner at the poker tables. extended his summer winning streak but pulling in $100,000 in a single game at caesar's palace in vegas last week. you can see him there on the left side of this picture sitting there. cleaning house. he says he then took his winnings down the strip spending some of it at tryst nightclub. >> he takes the money and you go to the nightclub. >> we know he likes to gamble. >> i didn't know that. >> he will continue to do it. he is still winning

airlines flight 77 left dulles airport at 8:20 in the morning. it was supposed to go to los angeles. five hijackers took over the plane, turned around and crashed it into the pentagon at 9:37:00 a.m. killing the crew of six and 53 passengers as well as the hijackers. the plane hit the pentagon at the first floor level on the western side. one section of the building collapsed. 125 people here that day were also killed, many of them civilians. defense secretary leon panetta will hold a remembrance ceremony here this morning. here is a look at some of the way that that will go today. president obama will lay a wreath. there will be the playing of the national anthem. army chief of chaplains will give the invocation. there will be a moment of silence at 9:37 a.m. there will be remark by the president and defense officials and then there will be a rendition of america the beautiful. after the president and first lady visit the pentagon memorial here, they will then head to the walter reed national naval medical crepter to visit with wounded warriors there. back to you. >> thank you. -- naval

. >>> it is now 5:56. today the space shuttle "endeavour" will finally arrive in los angeles. the shuttle will take off this morning from edwards air force base in california. "endeavour" is strapped to a boeing 747. it began its cross country trip on wednesday when it took off from the wendy space center in florida.reat photo-ops from millions of people from louisiana to mexico. it flew over tucson, arizona, yesterday where former congress woman gabrielle giffords and husband, astronaut mark kelly, watched in awe. >> it was emotional. i flew "endeavour" on my last flight, and she was still in the hospital when we launched, and when we landed, she was recovering from her last surgery, which was to replace the piece of skull that was removed the day she was shot. >> "endeavour" will eventually go on display to the public at the california science museum. >>> the news continues to be good coming out of the national zoo. the new baby panda appears to be doing very well. there is video of its mom ma grooming the squealing cubs. panda keepers -- i guess that's the ones who take care of the pan
